This kit is a great value for the cost, but the 2 stars is because every rod I received was bent. Not by a millimeter or two, but by more than a centimeter over the full length. Pretty annoying. I straightened the lead screw out and plan to use it, but the guide rails are pretty much unusable. However, getting the 4x linear bearings alone was good considering the cost they are from other distributors, so I plan to source guide shafts from somewhere else. (I don't have a picture because I straightened them up as much as I could right away to see if they were salvageable.)Not sure if the bending was "factory original" or if it occurred in shipping, but the box didn't look deformed or crushed, so I don't see how shipping would have caused this.

Using this setup to make a sewing machine/craft table that is adjustable, like the old sewing machine cabinets that lowered the machine. The bearings are very well made as is most the entire kit. The only slight frustration is the bearing blocks and guide block look scuffed up. For the price it’s a small enough issue I could take a star away. If it was double the price I would.

My husband is in school for mechanical engineering and needed these supplies for his final project. We were nervous to purchase because it had no reviews but to our surprise it really came in the next day! All of the parts were here and they are great quality! This is exactly what we needed!
