I bought these knowing they were cheap but I expected a little more. These balls have no way of locking or remaining closed. As soon as you set them down, they split in half. They can never hold hamsters and are ultimately useless because they do not stay closed no matter how you twist, push, or try to keep the pieces inserted together. Steer clear.
