I could not get these to easily twist into the factory steel holders. I removed the holders and used a 3/4" spade drill to drill a hole through down the center of the bumpstop. This allowed me to install the bumpstop into the steel holder and then reinstall onto the truck.

Better than oem, issue it will not fit for an 04 dakota no matter how much silicone you use, it's wider than stock, only way is to trim it to fit.
