On my one-and-a-half-inch drain, the fit is not tight, but this is an advantage because the screen that fits down into the drain is not right up against the sides. This allows water to flow through the entire surface of the screen. The entire basket, most noticeably the rim that sits around the top of the drain, moves a bit. It does not bother me. I’m very happy with the filter

Words can't describe how awesome this drain trap is! I bought it in August 2024 and it is now January 2025 and what use to be a WEEKLY HEADACHE of a clogged tub drain, standing water and BOTTLES AND BOTTLES of drano, has now all been totally eliminated with a simple little drain trap. It catches tons of hair, and even soap scum. There is even hair in it on none hair washing days which was suprising and is now answering the question of why the tub was perpetually clogged. 10/10 for this trap, highly recommend and would buy again!

Exactly what I needed for my bathroom sink. Although the mesh screen is adjustable, you need to first measure the opening for a proper fit. Received 2 very quickly, placed 1 in the drain hole and gently fitted the mesh down around the inside of the drain, perfect. I have tried several screen/filters for the bathroom sink drain, which was just a hole, after the original plastic plug was broken. Will run it through the dishwasher along with the kitchen sink drain when they get gunky. I use a rubber stopper when I want to fill the sink.

This metal mesh sink strainer is a cheaply made product. The screen looks like a window screen that was stamped to this shape. It will probably last a few months before it has to be replaced. There is no soft material like rubber or silicone on the underside of the rim to create a seal to prevent debris from slipping through. I ended up buying MFTEK Drain Hair Catcher Tub Drain Protector which is about $3 more than this item. The other screener works well for me and will likely last much longer than this product.

We use this product for the shower drain. Quality is fine, water still flows through, no problem. The look of it is fine, however, in our instance it is hidden by the magnetic drain cover. It’s easy to clean, we use an old toothbrush.
