I acquired a used acoustic/electric guitar that had no button at the base of the neck. I tried using a strap up by the keys, but it was awkward and unsatisfactory. i drilled a pilot hole at the base of the neck, in a position that would not interfere with the controls. The button went in perfectly, and did not cause the wood to crack. I an now a happy picker.

Another regular feature on my custom builds. Anyone who has ever had a worn strap slip off of the anemic strap buttons manufacturers use can appreciate the large mushroom head. A little extra work attaching your strap is well worth the peace of mind of it being secure.

These aren't the best looking strap buttons. I chose this mushroom style to match the existing butt-end strap button on a guitar. These are not nearly as nicely made as the original. The casting is cruder. Also, rather than a felt washer, these come with a flimsier washer made from a thin layer of woven plastic. Yes, they get the job done but they're not particularly elegant or attractive.

the product is not as per the provided photo. The screws are small and looks cheap guitar button. I wish I can refund my money back
