Worked alright, not great.

...I can't seem to make these work. They don't seem to fit just-right in any vessel I've tried so they don't hold the flowers upright. Maybe I just have the worst luck and every vase and vessel I own is just the exact wrong shape/size or maybe I'm just missing something, but these just didn't seem to work for me. Bummed because I really hoped they would help make my grocery store flowers look "arranged" but so far, no dice.

Works as described. The transparent structure hides well and spreads out the flower stems.

Spiral Ikebana Stem Holder, Spiral Stem Holder for VasesI was thrilled to discover this tool exists. I'm terrible at arranging flowers and they're always at odd angles out the top of the vase. Upon my very first use, this proved to be magical. What I don't like: the holes are maybe a little small. I used it with a dozen roses, and some of the stems wouldn't fit through the holes. The mistake I made: I didn't count the holes before ordering and didn't realize there are only 9 holes. So what do you do with flowers that come in a dozen? I'll just have to order one with more holes. If you like to have flower arrangements at home, it's probably good to have a few different sizes of stem holders so you have options. The clear plastic doesn't show too much through a clear glass vase. I keep it above the water line so it doesn't get calcium deposits. And when I don't have flowers, I just store the holder inside an empty vase.Whoever invented this was a genius. I hope they make these with larger holes, though.

Why were these not invented 100 years ago! These are so nice to have when you're trying to work with flowers and they just won't go where you want them to. Great price, will definitely buy several more!
