The tip is plastic and catches on the paper causing tiny splatters. It also clogs. It's OK for my first acrylic pen.

I used it to add detail to my paintings. I love the way the paint flows easily from the pen, and it isn’t messy. The colors are so vibrant and true to life. Great product!
