Given the description I was expecting something more robust. The fabric is black rather than the gray it appears in the product photo. That said, it feels more than well enough made for my needs especially given the price. My 250mm kayak paddle fits well and it keeps the two carbon halves from rubbing together in transit. The padding is only on the outside; the divider is a single sheet of the lining material.I will be buying another one for my wife's paddle.

For the price I did not expect much- and I was not surprised. Measure your paddle and make sure it fits. I have a Stellar full carbon low angle that is 230 cm and it is about 5 cm too long. I cannot really close the top flap. Other than that it is okay, not any real padding but the material should last with a little care.

I use this for my Werner paddle which has a bent shaft and find it fits but slightly tight. I think it has to do with the bent shaft but is does fit and doesn't put too much pressure on the stitching. Overall a good product.
