These are handy little mounting devices, if you can find a good use for them. I originally purchased them to hold a small saw on my Toolcat, but I couldn't not get a good angle for them to work. The rubber snubber is a little wonky - it can land on two hooks, one is extremely tight, and hard to pull into position, the other is a little too lose. I will say, it doesn't hold much. They are a fight to even stretch around a shovel handle. But they do hold it tightly when you do get it latched.

I've been offroading and camping for decades and keeping things in place is the most difficult. You need stuff to stay put but still can get to it. I've had those solid rubber clamps for years and they work really well but these are an upgrade for sure. They remind me of the rubber hood latches. I tested these of a few shovels, an axe, a hatchet and a recovery strap. From the smallest to the largest it would hold, it did well. The metal buckel side is easy to grab with the rubber tab and the closing side swings easily as well. If these come loose, there is some other way bigger issue than the clamp. Really nice smooth black finish that should stand up to the elements. The rubber is also thick enough to last a long time and has enough friction to hold.These are great and while I'll have to use my own hardware for a strange install, I have no fear these will hold the gear in place.

Having and continuing to use old style quick fists I wanted to try these out . Quick fists are a little fiddly to clamp down sometimes if the clamp isn’t perfect matched to device you are clamping , the strap can be an in between fit and you have to struggle to pull strap to next slot on clamp. This new style is very adjustable and can accommodate wider variety of shaft sizes. Once you place shaft under rubber strap , you clip buckle in and flipping the cam instantly locks in place. The larger the diameter shaft placed in clamp the tighter the grip so generally a bigger heavier item gets held more tightly so it’s almost auto adjusting for the weight of a bigger item. I’m planning to use these to secure kayak paddles to my kayak trailer.

These feel very premium. They are metal and rubber and I feel confident in them holding tripods or an axe on an offroading trip. These operate as simple latches and therefore will be very reliable. I am confident in their build quality and they are pretty stretchy so they should fit a lot of different types of handles/cargo diameters. I am very happy with these! 10/10 recommend

I drive a GMC Canyon short bed and have quite a few tools, kits, cases, etc. secured with bungee cords to the sides of the spray-lined truck bed. However, my short-shovel rattles around loose because I have had nothing with which to secure it. I got these quick mount clamps to attach to the side of the truck bed so that they can secure my shovel.The clamps come with four small bolts and nuts, but because I don't have access to the inside of the truck bed I couldn't use them.Instead I used four 1/4"-20 riv-nuts and 1/4 x 1" bolts. These hold the mounts securely and the mounts hold the shovel. The rubber straps on the mounts are easy to clamp on the shovel and the clasps tighten everything up nicely. These mounts are a nice addition to help organize my truck bed.Recommended.

If you have a truck, you probably look for ways to mount goodies in your bed. I tried things like quickfist, but their hole is either too big or too small. this mount was just right and holds things securely! I use it to mount my fishing pole and a hatchet. Comes in very handy because it doesn't bulk out with a permanent foot print, when not in use it has a pretty small profile unlike the quick fist type of mounts.
