I found out through my appliance repair technician that the OEM replacements are hard to find and are VERY expensive. I took a shot on these and they were a perfect replacement at a fraction of the cost. Installation was easy. Pro Tip: Put masking tape around the light before removal to avoid scratching the interior of your refrigerator.

Lights in the refrigerator were dim and sometimes not working. I had the first issue with the Freezer light going out and replaced it, and then all of my lights were good again. About 3 months later, it all started again, but the freezer light was working. I found another light in the refrigerator that would not come on, so I ordered these replacements and changed out the bad one, and now I have a spare if another one fails. No issue with the installation and the light is just as bright as the rest of the lights in the fridge. Make sure when you order that you know if yours is chrome or white. I almost ordered the wrong one in white.

So the first light in the series is the one that blows out most frequently because it takes the most amperage. It'd be best to swap out the blown light for an OEM down the line in the daisy chain then use these lights to replace the ones you swapped. Kind of like tire rotation. This might increase longevity as it was complained about in another review.However, I installed these first in line. Will report back on longevity issues. So far the price was right and the color is a nice match to OEM. And most importantly, they work!

Great replacement! As another reviewer said, the colour temperature is very slightly warmer than the original Jenn Air lights but it’s not very noticeable. I had 2 burnt out, one at the top of the fridge and one at the left. So I decided to swap the other good one at the top with one on the side and place my 2 new lights both at the top so that the colour temperature difference wouldn’t be as noticeable.

We have a kitchenmaid side-by-side with 7 of these lights in freezer and 7 in the fridge. I changed one in each. So far after three months they work fine. Color temperature is a bit higher but not too noticeable. Appearance and quality look like the original.

Our lights failed in our fridge a few years back. I called a repairman and after a $90 service call and $120 for parts problem was fixed. This time I ordered replacement lights from Amazon, came as a pair for under $30, and in 5 minutes were installed.

Worked fine initially then burnt out after 5 months. Also the colour temperature is slightly warmer than the oem.
