I installed this and a brushcutter kit on my echo weed eater. The kit had a different guard and handle etc. I also purchased a saw blade style brush cutter but have yet to try it because this thing works so well. I have chopped down miles of woods with this thing. I use it to clear shooting lanes in Alabama and Georgia for hunting. It works well. I have cut down some stuff it probably isn’t designed to cut, some stuff an inch and a half wide. It really does well with wood the width of a thumb. I came back to review this after a year and the blade is still some how intact and cuts like a charm. This really does work well for my needs.

This was really a chore to put on my Huskavarna weed eater. Of course no instructions so I watched YouTube video. The bolt would not get tight so some WD40 loosened it so it finally did. Worked great cutting tall grass and some small limbs and trees. The tall weeds clogged it up a few times but my fault for trying to cut it too fast. The blades are thick and sharp so it cut very quickly. I bought the two pack. Worth it.

Works good on thinner woody branches, brush.Might file it sharper, comes fairly blunt edged.I switch to the circular saw attachment for branches over 1/2" or so.Stihl FS 91r. None of the hardware helped - For now I'm using the string head as a nut to hold it on the shaft. I will go get the right nut and washer cuz the string head can hang you up in dense brush.

Unfortunately after our AZ monsoons, my property was overtaken by knee high to waist high weeds. I burned up my cordless trimmer and decided to get my Badger weed eater tuned up. After the tune up, all was good but the bump of the string did not work, and the metal blade that came with the Badger was tweaked a bit and caused a lot of vibration. So, I found this one and the reviews seemed authentic so I bought it and am I glad I did. This blade did the job cutting these weeds and my 80 year old body was not overly exhausted. I would recommend this for sure, no need to shop or compare other similar blades. Worth every penny, and I bought another to keep in reserve.

I put this on a husqvarna 130l and used it to cut down overgrown vegetation on a hillside that hasn’t been mowed in 3 or 4 years.I was skeptical if it would work but it worked amazingly well!Be careful and use controlled motions when you use it because if it hits your foot or leg, you are going to get shredded!I had to watch a youtube video to understand how to install it because it came with no instructions.

Even though product description says it will fit Husq. Works out my Stihl trimmers have 10x1.0 fine threaded shaft. My 525 has 10x1.25 coarse threads. Left hand threaded locknut so you prolly won’t find at hardware store. Also needs a 22mm dia flange or the thing won’t stay centered and vibrates. Ordered a $6 locknut in the right size and if that doesn’t fix the problem, I’m returning. Why they don’t put nuts with both threads in the kit escapes me.

Used these blades for trail clearing in a burn scar area with a Stihl FS131 between at elevations between 7000 and 9000ft in Arizona. Great for cutting back small locust, ferns, thick grasses and event smaller softwood trees. What's great about this blade is it truly gives you the most cutting range between the string head and saw a 40-80tooth wood cutting blade. Worked well cutting out thick ferns and at the same time up to 1/2 diamater locust and aspen. This wide range of cutting capability means you don't have to toggle between cutting attachments and their respective safety guards. These blades work with the string trimmer guard. They can also be flipped so you get double the cutting out of each blade. Since they are a non saw type blade they are also easy to sharpen. Per blade cost is about 1/3 of the OEM blades. I still carry the string head and a 80 tooth wood cut blade in my pack for specific use cases, but this blade is the default option for most jobs with moderately thick, younger brush.

I hate string trimmers/weed whackers. Since I live far out in the country, my weeds need much more than string to cut them. I ordered these blades without knowing for sure if they'd even fit. I own a large Greenworks trimmer, that is an absolute pia to restring. A few minutes of playing around showed me that the blade fit the shaft securely BUT the string pod had be be screwed back on to the shaft to properly hold the blade in place. Since the first test run, I have cut about an acre of grass/weeds around my house out to 50'-the extent of my extension cord. I have even cut the woody stems of Russian sage, some of which were in excess of half an inch in diameter. If you have a 1" diameter shaft on your unit, these blades will fit; however, you may have to do something like I did to ensure a secure & safe fit. I am 100% satisfied with this product. By the way, if you do not normally wear eye/face protection--DO SO!-foot protection too. These blades tend to sling cuttings further and with more velocity than string does. A great product that is working just fine for me.
