Purchased two of the Gate Valves as I was replacing two valves on my inground swimming pool filtration system. Valves have been installed for a number of months with no problems. Both valves operate very smoothly and so far so good. Would recommend these valves as they seem to be of quality workmanship. The cost of these two valves were considerably cheaper than any of the local home improvement stores. A winner

The pipe thread is not standard !I had to use a lot of Teflon tape to stop leakage!

Purchased this one because the local store was so much higher. Got a good deal and it does not leak (shuts off completely). The Home Depot one I purchased a while back does not shut off completely. Thanks so much

Good product for the price. Not used as a water product but is converted to be a switch.. Fits my needs perfectly.

I purchased this valve for irrigation purposes. I liked it until it broke after only being used for 2 months. Previously, I had been using a plastic valve from a big-box store. I wanted to upgrade with this valve, but the cheap plastic valve lasted longer than this one did. Do not recommend.
