Concrete Pigment
Concrete pigment powder for concrete coloring is a dye powder that can be used to add color to concrete, stucco, plaster, mortar, grout, countertop mix and other cement materials. It is also used in the ceramic industry. Mix the concrete pigment into any concrete, transforming it into a new design feature for veneer stone, paving stone and concrete countertops projects or to enhance appearance around the home.
CONCRETE DYE
Ninesung concrete color pigment recommended dosage rates is between 3% to 10% by weight of dry concrete depending on depth of color required in the mix. Dosage levels above this amount will produce little color change as ‘color saturation’ has been reached. When it dries it becomes lighter than when the color is still wet.

The three pigment powders in this set are all classic and warm earth tone colors. The brown is very much like dirt brown, the red is the traditional brick red, and the black is a deep pure black. For epoxy work trying to emulate natural stone, they are perfect as long as you aren't trying to do anything particularly bold. The bottles also keep things clean and are easier to use than baggies.

When I received the 3 colors of pigment powder one of the bottles had a very small crack and the powder got onto the labels so it was a bit hard to tell which was which but I can look on the bottom of the bottles and see. I used just a small amount of the black in my white rapid set cement and it turned the cement grey as you can see in the photo. I hadn’t mixed enough for the pour so I mixed plain white and you can see the difference in the very bottom of the hedgehog. I will use this pigment for cement stepping stones, castings and grout. I love the earthy tones of these pigment powders.
