This product is mostly plastic and although carefully measured, it could not fit into the sink due to it's weak plastic construction. I would suggest you visit a real hardware store and purchase something more substantial and of higher quality.

For background, I am renting a house and the stopper on the sink in the bathroom was broken when I moved in. It just sits precariously in the sink and if I bump it, it falls into a drain stopper position and is difficult to pull back out. After having to dig through gross water to unstop the sink with fingernails and tweezers too many times, I got this.It didn’t come with instructions but we were able to figure out how to set it up. If you push down hard on the stopper it can stop the drain, push it again and it unstops. It’s a much better system. Pictures are after about a month of use.

My original drain plug finally broke and it's tough to find perfect replacement parts for these Swedish bathroom utilities. This drain plug fit perfectly. Had a nice little junk catcher and then also can plug up the drain if I need to fill my sink. Solved all my issues on my old sink and now I am back in business without fear of anything falling in.
