It’s a little small but it’s better to empty everyday anyway to keep compost empty. With filters don’t have any smells from can. Our last one rusted over time but this plastic inside tub should not have the same problem.

Love how this compost bin has a removable insert that is easy to empty and clean. The handle has come a bit loose with time and has to be reattached at times, otherwise no complaints!

I have used this for about 8 months now. It is a good size if you don't have a lot of counter space. It seems to contain the smells well enough. However there are several disappointing flaws.* The inner plastic bucket is nice but it retains an awful smell.*The metal handle on the inner basket only gets in the way as far as I have found; food catches on it when you dump the contents and it prevents the lid from easily fittingly-- there is a bit of a wrestling match each time I try to get the lid on.* The charcoal pads that came with the container are too thin and the edges on the lid designed to hold the pad are too far apart; the charcoal pad frequently falls into the container contents.

This is a good size for the kitchen, and has gotten rid of the problem we had with fruit flies in our old compost bucket. I like that you can take out the liner and wash it. No odor from the compost. The only thing I would change is the handle on the outer bin comes out easily--you have to be careful when carrying it.

Using BPI compostable bags, this sturdy tin is attractive and the new dog cannot reach it. Because of the charcoal filter, no smells can be detected when it is closed. We have a bigger neighborhood compost pickup service, so all the homeowner needs to do is carry several of these small bags over in a larger tin in the garage to the neighborhood place.

1-Paperwork informs me TWO filters included-ONE filter included in package!1-Just one charcoal filter fitted into lid I'm confused to see how filter works!. The lid is not air tight as my other canister is.2-FYI sheets in package printing is superior-details appreciated-owners seem more focused on printing marketing/info details than the product as I perceive it3-I bought this canister because the Amazon Choice 4.5* (& 3,061 purchasers). Placed next to my other Amazon Kitchen counter Compost bin-this product I feel is inferior. I purchased as a back up canister to sit on the deck -which I feel it deserved to be

Von außen sehr schlicht, fällt kaum auf in ner Küche. Leider passt der Inneneimer nicht richtig, daher schließt der Deckel auch nicht. Leider hab ich noch keinen Weg gefunden den Verkäufer direkt zu kontaktieren
