I used these for a season and they're just too big. Because of the silicone on one side, they're rigid, so they can only lie flat - not fold at all. They clean the ball just fine, but in league when everyone has accessories, it would be enough to have something smaller and square that is pliable so it doesn't take up so much space when it's not in use. 8" x 8" would be plenty big.

I was hoping for a smaller size as I have small hands. A towel is hard for me to use without putting the ball on a surface. I noticed bowlers using a smaller version of this pad. I was sucked in by the deal of the day pricing and didn’t read the dimensions. My error. Am keeping bc it gets the lane oil off.

My son hasn’t used these before to clean his bowling ball but I bought them as I thought the grip dots might help him hold on to ball .
