These tubes are great. They are cheaper and stronger than cardboard mailing tubes. Plus the length of the tubes can be adjusted to fit prints/survey maps.

3pk Telescoping Scroll Tubes: First, the material is uber thin black molded plastic akin to a coffee cup lid or black takeout base tray. The design is nice and has cool features, BUT the material is so thin it bypasses the tracks it's supposed to go on and either crushes the pages or tries to pop off instead of locking in the slots. One came with the lid in the wrong place (see above) so the locking slot for the tab was pushed in and stubborn from sitting that way so long, I couldn't get the cap to stay on without using the cord tightened to keep it in place. There are numbered marks on the adjustable tracks as well, but they don't match anything I can find. Not cm, or mm, certainly not inches, but it gives numbers like 18,24,30,36, (but like 2 1/2" apart) but it doesn't mean that's the size of the tube OR what can fit in it. I got all excited when I saw the numbers 30-36, cause I have large grid map paper I needed stored too, but it was way off.Overall : if you're just storing simple non-delicate things in them, they are fine. If you need protection for something, this isn't it. If they doubled the thickness, maybe.

We go to a lot of shows and collect posters. We thought these would be perfect. These can’t get through security. I started bringing garbage bags with me in case of rain.

I like the fact that it can be extended to accommodate longer posters or rice, rice, paper, or regular cotton paper without damage

The product was poorly packaged and one of the 3 tubes was crushed at the bottom. They all had straps but on two tubes the straps were broken. I don’t need the straps and was able to use the crushed tube so did not return. These are good for home/amateur use but probably not good for professional use by artists and architects.

Purchased this set for our house plans and other documents. Works great but I measured incorrectly and returned for the longer tube. Same items as I reviewed before but a little shorter than what I needed. My screw up. Recommend this product (multiple expandable lengths) if you want to protect documents, plans, posters, etc.

I got this because of the extendable option. It worked great for all the sizes I needed. We used pods to move and these were packed in there. When we unpacked they were still together. Overall no complaints.
