I'm rebuilding the tilt/trim on an '84 Evinrude, and those cylinder caps were STUCK. After fighting with it for a bit with a breaker bar, I broke out the big guns and started beating on the wrench being sold here with a HAMMER. It held up fine, and things broke loose.

The gland nut pins on both tools do not fit the gland nut holes on my backhoe hydraulic cylinders. The tool was shipped with 5.5mm being the smallest. I need 3.5mm pins. So I guess I am going to grind these pins to fit. Would be great if Sixcow offered smaller pins and described pin sizes in tool description.

Pin broke off into gland nut on first cylinder attempted to disassemble. Had to send cylinder to machine shop to remove gland nut and broken tool pin.
