I needed a 1 inch insulator for a ham radio antenna repair.I was thinking that the insulator was solid but it was follow. So these will be stronger than the originals that were on it.This was a Cushcraft 3 element 12/17M beam.

I bought these for making a prototype item and they were perfect for what I needed. These do appear to be extruded, so they aren't perfectly round, but I had intended to machine the necessary parts out of them so it wasn't an issue. These machined flawlessly, provided a near perfect surface finish without effort, and no defects were found. I won't hesitate to buy them again.

These were just what I needed. I used them to replace the fiberglass insulators on a Butternut vertical. They look like they will work for a fraction of the cost of OEM.

This stuff is very machinable, and holds its dimension well. If you measure it with a caliper, and squeeze the caliper down, this plastic will deflect less than other plastics will. However, it is quite brittle, and can snap off if you make small features.

I had Losted a pushing to my pop-up trailer crank down foot. Could not find a replacement online.Decided to make one. This material is very easy to cut and drill.

ZERO quality control. I could see them bent immediately when I seen them. They are all bent almost 3/16" - 1/4". Shaped like bananas. I would have to turn them down 0.250" to get them straight, so bother with them when I could just get 3/4" and save myself money and time wasted fixing something that was supposed to be straight to begin with. The surfacefinishwas all rough like textured tile.. Returning them and purchasing elsewhere.
