These spoons remind me of any serving spoon you’d see in a school cafeteria or commercial kitchen, they are big, lightweight stainless steel. The spoons are great, and they wash well in the dishwasher. The tongs are "pointy", so I would not suggestflipping a tortilla, as it might rip it. But, they would great for asparagus or serving up spaghetti noodles.Good price for the set!

This is a pretty nice set. The handles are a little skinny, but I do still cook with them. Tongs are very small, but they are good for grabbing individual small items like shrimp.

Our family has been transitioning from plastic utensils and this set about completes that process. For the last few months, we have been using wood and metal spatulas, spoons, and such pretty much exclusively.All the items in this set are very useful in the kitchen. The solid spoon is large enough to effectively scoop out and also narrow enough to stir and mix in a medium saucepan. The slotted spoon is perfect for serving veggies and things from broth, water, or other fluids. Specifically great for green beans. Finally, the tongs are well sized for things like sausages, brats, and hot dogs. I trend to prefer tongs with a wider grabbing surface for larger items like certain cuts of meat or corn cobbs.They are all very solid and robust. None of them feel as though they would bend easily and so far have handled everything we’ve used them on.All things considered, I think this is a good set.

The handles are petite and short. Too short really for cooking.The part on the bottom that is the spoon wellIs so shallow it really isn’t a spoon. Both spoons are too shallow.

I have had a difficult time finding serving tools that are the right size for smaller chafers. The larger spoons simply don't work and regular size dinner ware is too small. These are the perfect size for my needs. They're great for using with large platters too.The quality of the spoons and tongs is excellent. They're a good size without being overly heavy. Their well balanced. The tongs have a small head, but I'm finding it works well with things like tomato slices and deli meats. I wasn't sure I was going to like them, but they're working very well. The tools are dishwasher safe and clean up beautifully.
