This is a review for: "30 Amp RV Plug Adapter Cord, NEMA TT-30P Male to L5-30R Female Twist Locking Connector, 125V 3750W Heavy Duty Power Adapter for RVs, Campers, and Emergency Backup, ETL-Listed, 1.5 FT"The last time we parked our camper I put my 100ft 12 gauge extension cord out from my garage door along the wall and cut across the path to our back gate and added some traffic covers over the cord. I forgot however to plug it in to maintain my battery. Fortunately our RV has a solar charging setup and so all summer and up until just a few weeks ago it has been keeping the battery fully charged. A few days ago I went outside and heard the radio popping through the outside speakers. Upon investigation during the early morning when the temps were below 30 the battery was draining. I think this might be because the thermostat is trying to light the furnace but we have the gas off, I am not sure and need to investigate that) but it was reading 7.4V on my solar management head. By mid-day when it got up to around 50 degrees and in full sun I checked again and the management head was now reading 12.8V.My battery is a deep cycle battery but to prevent damage from repeated drain/charge cycles I figured I should just plug it in, my cord is out here already after all but upon looking in my storage bin my side short cable to 5-15P plug was nowhere to be found. I then checked my garage and it is such a wreck I couldn't locate it there either. I know it is somewhere here on my property and eventually I will find it but I needed a solution now. So I got this cable. I already had a 30Amp RV to 15Amp Home adapter so I paired that with this to achieve a short adapter.I love the yellow color which matches my extension cord and is a heavy duty 10 gauge although that doesnt matter since I am only using it for keeping the battery charged. The screw on collar on my lost adapter always slipped so I had to hold my mouth just right but surprisingly this one tightened right up and did not slip! Now with the sub-freezing temps coming in here regularly and highs during the day of mid to low 30's I can rest easy knowing this will keep my battery in good health.

It didn’t work for what I needed that being said, the cord is thick and strong. It’s a great quality plug. The thicker, the more powerful.

This adapter allows you connect the now-typical L5-30P fitting used on most RVs to a shore power cord with a TT-30 receptacle end. The adapter works in that allows electricity to flow from a power source through the adaptor, but there are a couple annoyances.First, the overall length is 14" despite the product listing and description stating "1.5 foot length." That additional 4" would make the adapter more...adaptable :)The other problem is the L5-30R end has a threaded ring to provide weather resistance (no one dares say waterproof here of course). The threads are poorly formed and refuse to mate with the threads on my RV's LR-30P fitting.This adapter is usable, but I'd look for something better.

Quickly convert RV 30 amp service to Marine 30 amp service! Reliable, Safe, and much less $$ than putting in a dedicated Marine service box. Handy handle on the plug in side that allows you to easily plug in, or pull out plug. Mold construction, so water tight, and the female plug has the screw fittings to create a secure junction when plugging in your shore power cable.

I have a 30 amp twist lock extension cable/ boat Shore power cable that I wanted to plug into my RV socket on the outside of the house. This provides a weather tight connection allowing me to use my 30 amp extension cord that I ran out to my chicken coop to run the light and the heater. This is a well-built adapter with the locking ring. It's been running for about a week without issues. I felt the wire a couple times and it doesn't feel warm at all. It was a good deal for a well-built product and I would highly recommend

I bought a used camper, and it came without a power cord. I had an 30 amp extension cord, but it didn't fit the locking connector on my camper. This adapter solves the problem. Now I can plug into shore power with no issues.
