The wand and spray head work great. Puts out a fine spray with significant volume. However, the shut off ball valve is very hard to operate because of a very short lever. I unscrewed it and replaced it with a Dramm 22730 Shut-Off Valve. Now I have the best watering wand on the market.

The valve, that adjusts the water volume and pressure, sprays when you reduce the water amount. Thank you for getting me wet, every time I water my sprouts and plants that cannot take a high volume water..

The wand arrived on August 7th and failed this morning on August 28th, so three weeks of 'light duty' use; I water most days but have probably used it ~14 times. My previous wand lasted years before the aluminum corroded through. This wand failed at the crimp in under a month. I gave it three stars because they at least made the sprinkler head 3/4" so I could attach it directly to the hose. I most wanted that 'rain' pattern for the water. But if you need that extension reach, that rating is a 1 star at best.

the spray has a nice spread to it. and I like the length. I would have liked a more ergonomic valve closure. My previous one had it so that I could turn the water on and off w/ just my thumb, not needing to use the other hand. minor issue but important to me.

These water wands a very good and I do highly recommend them.Update: I had to lower my rating due to the fact that 3 pin holes have developed on the wand. This is only 1 year old and I only use it once a week to water. Very disappointed. I cannot recommend.

The valve is really cheap quality. I threw it away immediately and bought a better one. The wand itself lasted about 4 months before breaking off at the spot where the wand meets up with the threads to screw it onto the hose. The metal is super thin. Would not recommend.
