These chains measure 17 and 7/8" long, including the jump ring and clasp. The 1.2mm links mean they are quite delicate in appearance versus a 2mm link. My pendants are typically around 25mm and full of resin, and these chains can support them just fine. The silver plating looks lovely and doesn't rub off with normal wear. (I wore one of my pendants on this chain for a week without any polishing or special care to test it, and it did just fine.) Also, they have copper beneath the silver as described, so if you want a lovely blue patina you can oxidize these chains easily. I can recommend these chains, particularly for new crafters that don't want to spend on "pure" silver necklaces yet.

I realize these are not sterling chains but they look nice for the price. I make pendants to sell and it is always better to offer a chain with the pendant. These are great for that purpose.

I bought these before because my pendant that I use all the time fits well on these chains. The price is right for the amount you get so when they need replaced I just use a new one.
