The shells are large, I got 11 rather than 10, maybe because one had a small chip along the top. Very happy with these and can't wait to use them for decorating/painting.

Only three out of the ten shells were undamaged in some way. Perhaps this was a box of returns?I ordered for crafting Christmas gifts. will not work for me.

I received the clean shells, quickly. All were over 4 in, but none were close to 5. None broke in transport. The shells are real light, and some edges were frail, sheered and sharp. I use these shells in crafts, and the sheer edges are too dangereous and sharp, so, I will have to figure out a way to add a safe edge , or sand the edges to smooth the sharp edges. I’d like to give a four rating, for some scraggly sharp edges, but, to be honest, they fit the advertised description. I’m keeping them, not back enough to send back, and most shells were fine.

The shells are fine, big and in good condition but they haven't been cleaned at all. They will need to be boiled and sanitized thoroughly before they can be used for any cooking. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of buying them online, you're better off just buying whole scallop shells at a fish market and cleaning them yourself.These are incredibly overpriced considering how much work it's going to take to make them usable.
