These are great. Bought for a sailboat too project. These seem to be very good quality and work well . I like that they are easy to turn , also have a slight spring to them so if you hit it on the side it would bend on the spring (internal) rather than break. Definitely happy with these so far .

Not good for outside projects. Used these on a fence with a sign. Started to rust in a few months and not that much rain. Can't imagine they last longer with exposure to salt water.

I suggest getting better screws. We did not use the screws that came with the fasteners as suggested by other reviews. They are easy to use and look great on the boat.
