Your cart is empty.Yard Long Bean is a vining heirloom bean whose pods are actually 1 1/2 feet long, not a yard, but they can grow as much as 1" in a day! The edible pods are crisp & tender, & are best steamed, sauteed, or fried, especially stir fries.

I won't buy this again, the seeds didn't sprout for the most part, the few beans that did were low quality, while the rest of my garden thrived.

Like fix your photo that ain't true, its seed so just say it's bean seed instead of showing photo of that which wasn't even true.

I had to wait till the beans grew to find out what type did I buy before I wrote the review. And we lucked out. These are exactly what we wanted. The beans are light green, not the darker type bean. They are also a little thicker than the darker type bean. A very good bean.

We live in Washington state and mom planted these in June. It’s now the end of August and she was able to grow at least 40 string beans from it, so she’s very happy. From the item picture I thought they’d be longer, but this is pretty good for a tropical plant growing in the Pacific Northwest.
