Initially I was suspicious of this toy because I didn’t want it to stain my bathtub, towels, and/or kids.After lots of use, I’m happy to report that these color pills are fun to use, don’t stain surfaces, and you get a lot of use out of one jar, even if your kid wants to mix stuff until you get dark brown. We even had an incident of my kid eating one of them, and they’re non-toxic so everything was ok.We’ve honestly liked these so much that we keep a stash for when we have a birthday party and we need a last minute gift.

We love these and use them all the time! We make lots of different color combos and we sometimes match the toys in the bath to the water color for an all green (or whatever color) bath. Lately we like to take red water and splash it on the tub surround and then use a spray bottle to “put out the fire.†We also have bath lights we can set to the same colors.

I’m a both a Lush and a bathtime junkie and the money was really adding up from buying bath bombs all the time. So I tried to find something that would just color and give the illusion—these are perfect! Throwing in different ratios of tablets to find out what color they’d make is genuinely really fun. The colors are incredibly vibrant. There’s no residue/staining AT ALL in the tub after! The actual dusty color of the tablets vs. what color they make is a little confusing, but honestly it adds to the surprise color of your water.

I purchased these colors last year for my kids who are a bit older at 8-10 years old but they both love picking out the tabs and seeing what color the water will turn. Normally, my kids each take at least one bath a week. Which means we have had plenty of opportunities to try out these colors. I haven’t had any issues with tub staining or skin staining. Even if your hands get wet and you touch the tab, you won’t have a color stain on your palm. I also have harder water and still haven’t had issues of the color grabbing any hard water build up anywhere.My kids have loved these so much they are asking to get another bottle this year for Christmas. We haven’t used up the entire bottle yet from last year (I set a limit of 4 small tabs or 2 big tabs) so we have some left but no big ones. So I will be purchasing again!I do wish the bottle came closed up so it doesn’t spill all inside the shipping box. Maybe this year!Update- purchased and received again! This time the container had two stickers holding the lid on and they held! Still had some dust but much better than not having anything holding the lid like last year!

My child really enjoys the colors during bath time. He learn about mixing colors while playing. It is so much fun for children. He will play in the bathtub for about an hour. And great way for him to bathe and learn.

As you can see from the attached photo, I opened the mailbag and the bath pellets were all loose inside, as the package had broken. The size of these colour drops is much, much smaller than I expected, they're the size of a small fingernail. I'll post another review once I've dropped one in the bath.
