This was bought for a kinder class I'm teaching. My 7-year-old tested it out and thinks they're pretty great. The cards that come with aren't super tough, but the designs are fun and of varying degree of difficulty for small children.

I bought this for my Kindergartener. We homeschool and we needed some pattern blocks for her math curriculum. I found these at a great price and worked perfectly for what we needed them.And I was surprised that she even enjoyed building the puzzles that come with it.

When I was little I remember playing with these at school and I wanted my kids to play with them also. The cards in this set are really big and have had no issues with them yet. I figure I will laminate them just in case. I have noticed some reviews complaining about the size of some of the pieces. Yes, this set comes with some pretty small pieces but these sets have always had different size pieces that include small pieces. Besides that I use this set along side math for my kindergarten who is a visual learner. 10/10 would buy again.

This is a great set, but I bought for my classroom and had to laminate or they would never last! However, it was still a great price and definitely worth every penny! Will buy again!

I chose this product over the others because the pattern cards are large with the shapes being the actual size of the wooden shapes so that you can place them right on top of the card. You get a lot of pieces with a storage bag for the shapes. The shapes are made of wood with no rough edges and they are a perfect thickness being that they aren't thick and bulky, but they also aren't too thin to where you could snap them in half. Eliminating some of the bulkness compared to the traditional really thick ones has cut the weight down a lot when it comes to carrying a whole bag of these which is perfect for little kids. It's also nice because it makes a great travel toy if you're going to visit family or friends, or if you have a Dr. appointment or something where you could use a little something to keep your child occupied while waiting.

My youngest boys are 6 and 3 and they love playing with these pattern blocks. The pages are the perfect size and the blocks themselves are great quality. They have fun learning different shapes and patterns and overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I got this item because many reviewers stated the cards are large so that the child can place pattern blocks over the cards to make the designs. That is not true and they are actually quite small. Would work for an older child but not a toddler starting out. I’m not sure how there was a confusion but I want ppl to be aware so they don’t purchase with the same thought I had!

There is nothing fancy about it. Its simple and good. It is a creative toy, it forces the little one to think and there are many things a child can learn from this toy like color, counting, shapes, names of the object. As I am playing with my daughter I make a design while she works on her own design, sometimes we race so to see who finishes fast. If I am not around she tries to make new things on her on. This toy also lets the child think about what else they can make apart from the provided designs. I had ordered this as a gift for my daughter's friend but I ended up keeping this ordering another set for her friend.I had also bought the magnetic tiles for my daughter and I can see this being equally good toy without the hype.There were no rips or tears. The pack was perfect and I think it was good value for money.

These blocks have been well played with and used for all sorts of imaginative play. I expect they will continue for another few years yet. Lovely item.

Nice quality wooden shapes. Pictures of patterns are on heavier paper, double sided.
