I was shocked by how expensive some of the stepper motor + linear rails are on this website. So, I turned to Befenybay for an affordable / correctly priced version to build an affordable automated x y microscope stage.I used the 100mm rail for the X position and the 50mm rail for the Y position. With this current setup (A) and some software. I can visit multiple pre-selected position every five minutes (B) and my object of interest has only a minor deviation - 40 pixels at worst- from its original position (C). Hooray! I am very happy with this purchase, and I would highly recommend this product.

Happy with the tightness of this little linear actuator. No play in any direction except the axis of motion and that is only micrometers!

I saw a lot of reviews that said when they got it, it didn’t work and they had to order something else and other reviews were somewhat positive. I knew I was taking a chance ordering these, But sad to see really don’t work.

Ordered two, both have play in the linear bearing. one worse than the other. Play in the linear rail is not acceptable.I returned the worse one and ordered another, will update.Edit:Third is greatEdit 2:way too much slop

The picture attached by the seller as spec sheet specifies the distance between the 4 M3 holes on the slider is 18 mm apart from their respective edges. It is not true. It is not 18. This is really poor behavior from the manufacturer. Anything that has to be attached to the slider will be using those M3 holes and they cannot produce it with similar dimensions as specified. I have been 3D printing with several iterations and it took me a lot of time than I thought it would take because of this stupid manufacturer. Actually, I want to use harsh words than stupid, considering the decorum I prefer to stop it hereNote: In my case, the distance between the center of four M3 holes on the linear slider were 20 mm each.

The unit did not come with any instructions at all! Not even a schematic diagram of how it should be connected to the CNC shield. A pin out of the Nema motor Would have been helpful.
