I'm making keychains, and I bought these jump rings so I can connect the clips/keyrings to them. They are very strong, so I never worry about anything pulling apart. HINT: Use two thin pairs of needle nosed plyers to open and close the rings. If you're worried about damage, putting heavy duty duct tape on the tips of the plyers will help avoid such issues. Worth the effort if you want a solid end result.

Just got these but I can easily feel how sturdy and strong they are. A great price and you get three different sizes. I can make my own but why bother at this price. Happy!

These are awesome. They came in 3 sizes and I'll use them for Keychains. Way thicker and harder than the previous rings that would open with a hard pull shown in picture. These will not open on a hard pull from the Keychain. Pretty tough to open to put in Keychain but that goes to show the material is not weak or cheap.

Depends on what your using them for. Definitely too agressive for jewelry. Solid stainless steel rings, someone's review mentioned great for chainmail.. I agree 100%

These rings are nice and thick and strong. I get tired of the dainty silver jump rings that open up too easy, by the slightest tug. These are strong enough to use on keychains. It requires a tool or two to open and close, and I am okay with that if it means stronger creations.

I needed a few different sizes to make some connections in a few projects I'm making and and the 8, 9, and 10 mm were perfect. They're sturdy and thick enough that I won't have to worry about special pieces falling apart and getting lost. A little bit of strength is needed to open and close, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it once you learn your little maneuvers. I'm actually finding it quite easy to work with these once I got into my project a little deeper and the amount and three sizes will serve their purpose well. I would definitely buy more of these later when I need them.

I bought the 17ga 8/9/10mm rings because I needed to make about 24 sets of 6 charms for a kids’ project, so they needed to be strong and not easily broken or pulled apart, and not cheap metal that would rust and tarnish. The 8mm and 10mm came just as described - the right size and super sturdy, however, the 9mm pack came with 25 or so in a higher gauge and they’re just too weak for me to use for this project. I’ve already used all of the 8mm and some of the 9mm so it’s too late to return them and get a replacement. Also, this pack doesn't have 100 of each size, which is what I expected with 300 rings split into 3 sizes. There were only about 75 of the 8mm (I needed at least 90, so I ran short on those), but there were about 100 of the correct gauge of the 9mm plus the 25 or so of the thinner 9mm rings. I haven't gone through the pack of 10mm, yet.

I make charm bracelets & need jump rings that will not open when pulled. These are strong & perfect & yes, you need pliers to open them.

Wonderful quality and wow can I just say that any concerns or questions I had the team at Electromoda responded kindly and efficiently! While I handmake my jewellery this particular item was a little too thick for my delicate designs, but the team at electromoda assisted me and helped me with other options. Really strong and quality products.
