This pot makes cooking hotpot super easy. The divider was well placed. It doesn't allow the two broths to mix. The quality is super sturdy and the size is perfect for a family of 4. It looks sleek with the divider being shaped curvy. I love this Shabu Shabu pot.

I purchased this pot, but unfortunately, it turned out to be defective. When I reached out to customer support, I was disappointed to learn that the only way to get a refund is to return the defective product to a UPS location or Whole Foods, both of which are inconveniently far for me. Return pickup is not offered, which feels unfair considering the product was defective in the first place. It’s frustrating that the burden falls entirely on the customer to resolve an issue caused by poor quality.

This seems relatively sturdy and I tested it on an induction cooktop and it worked well. I filled both sides with water and added food coloring to one side to see if the welded divider is sealed well. I brought the water to a boil and at first I didn't see any leaking. That was probably because the boiling mixes the color so you don't notice. When I let it sit for an hour, I noticed blue seeping along the seam in at least 2 spots. Not a gushing leak, so you could probably get away with 2 flavors and not noticing much change, but if for any reason you were needing this to truly prevent cross contamination, you should not use this pot. One person in our family can't do gluten. I think the safest plan for that or a seafood allergy is to just have completely different pot. When you think about it, splashing or someone accidentally dropping something in the wrong side is likely anyway regardless of seal quality.

At $40, I didn't think this was going to be an artisan cooking pot, but at least of normal pot-quality. I mean, Ikea pots are cheaper than $40. But this pot has dark weld marks clearly visible on the outside. Thumbs down.

Not a quality product. I have bought both DMG on the nonstick coat and the weld on the stainless steel is not good. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER
