We recently had an outdoor kitchen built in our backyard. Everything worked out great, except for the fact that rats were getting in to the walls of the kitchen. The way they were getting in is through the gaps that were intentionally placed at the bottom of the walls. These gaps were placed wherever we had a cooking source. So, one gap was for the BBQ, another gap for the griddle and a third gap for the power burner. These gaps were safety features. The gaps were at the bottom of the walls, about an inch and a half high and about six inches across. The perfect gap size for rats to get through. When I would open the storage door for the kitchen, I would see rat turds on the ground. At first we tried rat traps but those barely worked. And when they did work, well, who wants to clean up that mess? Orkin suggested we put screens on the inside of the walls where the gaps are to keep the rats out. I found this product on Amazon, purchased it, cut the wire to the sizes I needed, installed them on the inside of the walls and BAM, no more rats in my kitchen walls! Great product, very sturdy, I highly recommend.

I elevated the grate in the firebox of my backyard smoker to improve airflow and allow ash to fall through. Unfortunately lit wood and coals would often fall through the grates. This expanded metal sheet is the perfect size and has small spacing to keep the coals up and allow the ash to fall. The metal is sturdy and should hold up well over time. Very pleased with the purchase.

I used this to fabricate a radiator guard for a motorcycle. Ii was concerned that the material wouldn't be stiff enough to resist the sort of damage that might be expected in the application but it turned out that this stuff was perfect for the job. Light weight and strong as well as corrosion resistant, perfect.

I like that it is already cut. I do not like the rough edges that you can cut yourself on it. I am looking for something smooth and already cut safe for my fur babies.
