First a confession. I collect toy cannons - mostly vintage, stamped steel and cast iron from the 20's to the late 40's. I thought it would be cool to get something new especially since these are made of metal vs plastic - pretty rare these days. I found that there are quite a few, similar cannons on Amazon but this one looked the best and was somewhat lower price. While the Amazon page is mildly confusing and not very informative, I learned that these are actually made to work with a firecracker and don't shoot any projectile. Unfortunately for those of us in the U.S., the firecrackers that we use are significantly smaller than those in Asia and therefore the cannon won't perform as well for us. As I'll be heading south in a few days I will try and see if I can find anything better. Apparently, they use a 200g firecracker and ours are only 40 grams? If anyone finds them please post on a review.
