Well-constructed metal shut-off valve, not a cheap plastic one. Large inter diameter lets plenty of water flow to the shower head to provide one an enjoyable shower experience. The large handle used to turn-on-turn-off the flow is very smooth and when in the off position there is no dripping from the shower head as was the case in my older 20-year-old cut-off valve. This valve along with the Aisoso High Pressure Shower Head 3 Inches Anti-clog Anti-leak Fixed Showerhead Chrome with Adjustable Swivel Brass Ball Joint I purchased together from Amazon was so outstanding, I purchased a second set for the spare bathroom shower. It may not be the best-looking shower cut-off, but who cares, it works, and works well.

Easy to install, and engineered well so that the on-off lever is easy to rotate. I’ve used other ones which required so much force to switch on and off, that my wife was unable to use them. This one is perfect. I’ve got one on a hand-held shower head and in a different bathroom, one on the standard wall-mounted shower head. Both work perfectly. Highly recommend .

After I removed the flow restrictor from my shower head I needed a way to control the amount of water that flows through it. This product fit the bill perfectly. However, it does not include any O-rings. I had to use 2 of them to install it without any leaks. I bought a bag of them separately on Amazon for a couple dollars (shown in my second picture). It does include a small roll of teflon tape, however. I used the included tape to install it and it worked well.Now I can take a shower without blasting my skin off!

This shut off came with the pipe thread tape, a filter screen and is a ball valve that completely shuts off the water flow to my shower head. Due to a leaky mixer faucet in my shower I needed a way to temporarily stop the dripping. Most other shutoffs sold at hardware stores do not completely stop water going through due to construction type and regulations that requires some water to always dribble past the valve to prevent injuries due to possible hot water back up in the pipe leading to the shower head.

This review is for the NPT version of the valve.I purchased this valve to replace one that I had purchased several years ago and had seized.The new valve came wrapped in plastic with a plastic insert in the FNPT end and a plastic cover over the MNPT end. As cardboard tubes work well to protect threads and heavy paper works well to protect the finish, I would not consider this to be a Green product.The valve motion wasn't smooth when it was dry, but after use, it worked smoothly. It will be interesting to see how long this valve lasts.This valve came with a rubber gasket/O-ring with a metal mesh for the inlet. The only leak I had initially was on the inlet side. I gave it another quarter turn and all was well.

I purchased this shut-off valve as a replacement to fit on a shower in order to adjust water flow. A previous shut-off valve from another manufacturer did not operate smoothly. I am very satisfied with this valve and would recommend it highly.

Easy install, no drips. Make sure you wrap the male ends with Teflon tape.
