The clamps and thimbles worked fine. The crimping parts will not allow a 1/4" cable through...no matter how hard I tried. If I need them again, I'll look for a different company.

End thimbles would be mre suitable 3/16th or 1/8th " cable than 1/4"

They are not very large clamps but works ok if you aren’t needing them for a heavy load

Ordered two sets of these as I needed 12 cable clamps. One clamp in each set had threads on one leg of the u-bolt that wouldn't allow the nut to tighten. I could actually push the nut on and off by hand. It is a u-bolt thread issue, as the same nut would work on other u-bolts. Will have to go to the local hardware store and pick up some additional clamps when the job is to be done to replace the bad u-bolts and in case some of the others fail under load.
