Bad sensor right out of the box!… as shown using digital oscilloscope. Traces made while tapping vise with hammer, (next to sensor) with sensor mounted in a vise and sensor hooked up to o-scope test leads. First photo shows voltage trace of bad sensor. Second photo shows the trace of a known good knock sensor (greater than 5 volt AC output). Unless you have a digital o-scope and understand how to use it, and can test this Knock sensor BEFORE installation, don’t buy this knock sensor. Using a digital multi-meter and tapping on the sensor (as many YouTube videos show) will likely give you false hope and then you will waste many hours installing and then trying to troubleshoot. Huge Waste of Time. Beware of the excessively low price!

Had a check engine light for no communication to the knock sensor. when and bought this one and installed it and the light went out all was well.
