I recently purchased the 30in Reversible Christmas Tree Stand Mat and although I ended up returning it, it was not due to the quality of the product. The mat itself is made of waterproof material and provided excellent protection for my wood floor from any potential water damage caused by my Christmas tree.One of the reasons I decided to return the mat was because of its size. It turned out to be larger than my tree ring, which I didn't particularly like the look of. It didn't fit the aesthetic I was going for with my Christmas tree setup. However, this was a personal preference and not a reflection of the quality of the mat itself.I must admit that the price I paid for the mat was worth it considering the water damage my wood floor had suffered following Christmas. The mat would have prevented any water from seeping through and causing the damage.In hindsight, I wish I had reordered a smaller size of the mat to better suit my preferences. This product is as described. It comes folded and did not really want to flatten easily. It served the intended purpose, and I would buy it again.

THIS MAT IS NOT WATERPROOF. It is thick felt.True story: we have to replace our hardwoods because of this mat (and a leaking tree stand).We did not know our tree stand had a crack in it. We put this mat under the stand and centered it, then proceeded to water our tree for five days. We got down to water it on day five, and the floors had BUCKLED! This mat soaked up the water as the stand slowly leaked. We had no idea. Then, once it was saturated, it slowly leaked water into our hardwoods. Since the water did not pool - because this mat is NOT waterproof - we did not know the leak was happening.Now we have no Christmas tree AND nowhere to put a replacement because we have to dry out the floors and subfloors.Don't buy this.

There are too many creases when I open the delivery package. The item looks cheap and differs from the product picture.
