Gift for my granddaughter.. wanted for crab boils. Fish fries. Easy to assemble, used to cook fries, corn dogs, and every thing they could fry.They loved it! Very high quality. It will last them a long time.

It's a turkey fryer. It does fry a good turkey. I got mine and the lid was bent and there were dings in the pot. I need it then so I beint it back as much as I could and used it.Dented pit and lid, minus 1.The basket slides on the sides of the pot. Maybe the pot is messed up but the hook also slides on the basket. It can't all be dented or mal formed. Minus another 1.The shelf is not necessary and I find that it gets in the way as I transport things. If you only fry at home then the shelf makes sense. It doesn't make sense for me. I use it. Just wish for the price it came out like new instead of something I threw in the back of the truck 10 or 20 times.

So I assembled the deep fryer. It took about 25 minutes to put together. The pot is tall and large enough. I hope it will fit an 18 pounder. The frying basket I thought is a little small and short. I thought it was supposed to come with a smaller pot for frying fish but I may have mixed it up with another brand. The box arrived in good condition but when I opened it the pot had a dent on it towards the bottom as evidenced by the picture. Again the box it came in was in good condition and not crushed so I don’t get why the pot inside is dented. I will be using it this thanksgiving and i will update my review after I use it. So far it looks ok. On flat surface it’s very sturdy. No wobbing. The stand is much larger than the pot which is good. The turkey stand I think is too short or too small. I have a 18 pounder and I will see if that fits next Thursday. The injector needle is sharp and I tested it out and seem to work well. Stay tuned.

Can do so much in this and the table is very convenient could be a little for sturdier

I was actually impressed with the construction… until I found out I was missing 5 screws to finish putting it together…guess I’m headed to the hardware store.. after spending $100 on this
