This is by far the best fix for a busted brake line, if you are the sort that fixes your own car when something breaks. The tools produced some phenomenal flares, and there is no leak or issues with the line nor the fittings. I would indeed highly recommend. You will need female fittings from elsewhere to properly patch a line with these though.

The fittings are size standard. My 1995 ford mustang uses metric size fittings. So Amazons "fits my car" was wrong. Couldn't use the flaring tool, since it was for the standard size fittings. Now the flaring tool can be used for standard and metric size LINES BUT NOT FITTINGS. Fittings and lines are ARE TWO DIFFERENT THING. Do your research ladies. Now the tool itself is hard to use. And you will want to throw it. Making your own brake lines isnt worth it. Go buy what you need. The quality of the tool is great but bad design. Now my product Arrived on time, in good shape and had everything but the tube bender, which is like buying cereal but no milk.

Admittedly i'm a novice, so it was a learning curve. the kit did the job, but was a bit difficult to use.
