This is better than I anticipated! This is a solid built item. It is 'heavy', but it's steel! So supposed to be! There was an initial snag in delivery but the seller was prompt to respond and I got it 4 days later.

I whacked myself with these and it hurt plenty, so I can attest to their efficacy, and quality seems to be good. If you're thinking you can walk around inconspicuously wearing these like a bracelet, you'll be disappointed. It's heavy, the strand is very long, and the beads are BIG. I know that's all necessary for the implied purpose of pummeling someone with a heavy chain, but if you're looking for a discreet self-defense tool, look elsewhere.

The beads are very heavy and if swung should discourage hooligans from pursuing shenanigans with the imminent likelihood of an emergency dental visit.They are highly polished and look very classy.The only drawback for me was the fit on my wrist. It's hard to get a clean yoga style, nice mala fit. The clasp is a bit large, the length a bit long, so it's big on me.Customer service with the vendor, David is noteworthy for his efficiency and professionalism.
