I used these to cut a couple dozen holes in stainless steel 16 gauge and this hole saw performed phenomenally. The holes were accurate and smooth finish with no jagged edges. Price is extremely cheap but the quality is definitely not!

Very well made for the money! I used this to cut holes in 1/8" stainless steel still looks brand new after over a dozen holes! Lots of cutting fluid and slow and steady! Works awesome! You do need a strong drill to run this bad boy! I used my M18 1/2" Milwaukee brushless, hammer drill with the handle attachment. Worked great!

I used this tool in order to cut a 25mm pocket in an aluminum casting. It worked very well in my drill press to cut the hole. Unfortunately the metric size i need is 25mm to put an oil sight glass in a motorcycle engine cover. The measured size using my calipers was 24.6mm. That was too small to be useable.If this tool was actually 1â€, that should result in a metric size of 25.4mm. So I am unclear what size this is actually supposed to be. I do have a hole saw I bought, in a different amazon purchase, that was sold as a 25.5mm size. It actually measures 25.4mm. Which suggests that different size is actually 1â€, right?The tool itself work great, cuts well. It ejects the cut plug and is easy to use. I would buy one again if I had confidence I could get it in the size i actually need.I’m a bit frustrated about what size I need to search for. 1†and 25mm are not the same actual size. This makes it hard to shop on Amazon. Unfortunately I had to ruin a motorcycle engine cover to collect this info.

quality product! note: if cutting plastic try running in reverse and burn your way through - the big wood teeth may grab and tear.

The hole saw itself looks fine and seems quite sturdy but did not come with the pilot bits or the hex wrench like the description says it comes with. This literally can't be used without the correctly sized bit. Used to install deadbolt on metal clad door. Cut right through skin with very little effort. No loss of teeth or damage to saw. Only comment would be depth of cut too shallow on 1 3/4 inch door to punch arbor hole on far side. Used standard hole saw to finish first side. Happy with purchase would recommend to others.

I wanted to add a soap dispenser to my kitchen sink but needed a 1 1/4" hole. After doing some research I decided on this bit which was reasonably priced. While I was waiting the 2 days for delivery I decided to drill a small pilot hole, it took me 30 minutes and a few bits just to drill a small pilot hole as the Stainless is very hard. Once the bit I ordered arrived it took me 5 minutes to cut the hole. I just took it easy cleaning away the shavings as I went. The bit had no problem cutting through the Stainless, I'm very impressed.

Had to drill 6 holes for my aluminum soffit outdoor to install my led pot lights. This circle cutter was the perfect choice, it cut through it like butter. Just make sure you don’t start cutting straight into it and not at an angle. Otherwise you will shorten the life of your cutter. Great buy at great price!!!
