Ordered the #SILFISC weed rake to clean up the waterfront around our dock. The water level was reduced over the winter and the weeds popped up like...well...weeds. Now that the water level is back to normal, those weeds are dying out and just causing issues for watercraft and swimmers. This weed rake is large, 32" large. It's double sided and comes with a very long line and a weed bag. It's easy to use and is very effective and pulling out the weeds. Simply toss the rake into the water, let it settle and pull it back in. You may have to do the same area a few times but that's just how it is. This thing works and works very well. So glad I ordered it.

This throwable water rake arrived intact, in new condition, and generically packaged. The rake is made of steel alloy. The majority of the welds are clean and look good. The rope is plenty thick for the weight it is handling. It does a good job with gathering unwanted debri.. I would recommend.

Got this to help clean out the farm pond. Pond has lily pads and cat tails growing in one end. Spring fed, about 12' deep. This is weighty enough to sink all the way to the bottom, fairly easy to throw it. We are using a different rope and a major hefty stainless steel locking carabiner instead of merely tying the rope to the welded circle. I found that smaller throws, clearing smaller portions at a time is better. Do near shore first, then work back around a little further out. Test it out close to you at first. The rake can get over loaded if the weeds are rooted well. (Then husband has to get in the water to fish it out - ugh). Once you get the hang of it, it's good. It sifts through our sand, silt bottom. It does pick up rocks, but a sharper tug will lift it up and drop the rocks. We put the weeds in a wheelbarrow or in the tow trailer, not using the mesh bag that came with it. Also note that it doesn't seem to worry the spinner fish, ducks etc. in the pond. The black paint/powder coating? on it looks uniform. We hose off the rake and hang in the barn when done. Good little tool.

This product is straightforward to use and assemble. It features a robust, heavy-duty metal rake head that you attach to a rope and then throw into the water to remove weeds. The build quality is impressive, being both thick and durable. While I'm not yet strong enough to tackle extensive weed raking, I am excited to have this reliable hand tool for when I need it.I highly recommend this product for anyone in need of an effective weed removal tool.

This rake works great. You just throw it out and pull it back in. Not only does it clear out the weeds but it found the wrench I list 2 years ago. The rake is super sturdy and the rope is a good one. We also found that my daughter can position it on the back of her kayak and row out to the end of the really long rope and the person on shore can pull it in for a very far reaching weed sweep.

This design is simple and it's very heavy-duty, it should last a long time. The welds look good and it feels very solid when hold and tossing it. We haven't had a lot of buildup yet to test it thoroughly, but so far so good, it handles pulling muck, weeds and debris effectively.

The rake is made of some pretty hefty heavy duty feeling metal. It simple and pretty well made. The welds look decent and seem to hold well. It has a a solid ring for the rope to go through. It comes all welded together so there is no assembly required at all.
