This is the first time I have ever had a cat. Usually, I am a dog person but as I grew older and retired, I did not want to get another dog after my last one died of old age. So cleaning out litter boxes was a new chore for me. The smaller handled scooper I had got me a little too close to the litter I was removing. This long handled one is perfection. It is extremely sturdy, easy to clean and I am not so close to the waste as I shovel it out of the litter box. The only thing on my wishlist now is another one made this same way except it is a rake. That will make it easier to pile up the waste without having to sift the whole litter box before shoveling it away for disposal. Highly recommend this well made litter scooper-shovel.

I will be 80 years old this July and I am severely handicapped. I have been struggling trying to keep my cat's litter bin clean without falling out of my walker while leaning over. This Long Handle Cat Litter Box Scooper has taken all the struggle out of the task. It is so much longer and stronger and versatile than the short handle plastic one I was trying to use. I no longer fear falling and dreading the task. My cat is happier and healthier with a cleaner litter box. I am a very satisfied Customer!

I use this to help clean my chicken coop. It's lightweight, and doesn't unscrew while you're using it. It really takes very little effort to clean the poop out of the poop shelf. It comfortable to use. I have it at the extended length and if I have to get big scoops I can hold both comfort grips and shake back and forth the speed up the process. I love that you can unscrew the handle to make storage easier. It definitely cuts my time in half and I don't have to bend. I do recommend this even if you use it for cat litter!

I had hip surgery and have not been able to clean out litter box due to hip restrictions. I can now reach the litter box easily. The scooper has a very long handle that screws together. There is no way it will bend while using for it is sturdy metal that looks like steel.It is worth the money. Also great if you have back problems. It will also keep your nose out of the litter box which is a benefit. I would buy again but I'm sure this will last the lifetime of my cat.

The scoop’s metal construction is sturdy and the scoop does a good job of picking up litter but when the handle is extended, the extension connection loosens while scooping so you have to keep stopping to tighten it. So not very useful. A little longer would be more comfortable too.

As good as it gets. We have five cats so it gets a workout.Very sturdy.The extending handle really works smoothly. With a simple twist of the handle, the extension locks in place.We use Arm&Hammer dust free liter. This scooper works perfect for the fine grains.

I do like this shovel because it helps me avoid stooping down to clean out three litter boxes on a regular basis. The shovel is sturdy and easy to use. I must say that it's a little pricey but does a good job.

Diese Schaufel ist grandios. Ich habe sie für die großen Hopp-In-Katzenklos bei mir zuhause gekauft und verwende feinsandige Klumpstreu. Die Schaufel ist sehr leicht. Der gepolsterte Griff liegt gut in der Hand. Die Arretierung für die Stiellänge lässt sich leicht auf und zu schrauben. Mit der Schaufel und der Hebelwirkung durch den langen Stiel lassen sich besonders große Klumpen einfach in den Eimer befördern.In unserer Tierauffangstation vewenden wir Holzpellets als Streu in besonders großen Klos. Wer diese Pellets nicht kennt, sie zerfallen bei Kontakt mit Urin zu feinem Holzmehl. Mit der Schaufel kann man die gebrauchte Streu - das Holzmehl - leicht in einen Eimer sieben und die sauberen Holzpellets wieder zurück ins Klo tun.
