Beautiful, functional and portable instrument thanks to its carrying case and tripod. The included mallet has a very loud treble. The instrument is very good, I bought it for my daughter who is studying music in middle school

We have beginner band students in our home & this is perfect for them! It appears one of the keys is labeled incorrectly but it functions appropriately.

I already have a glockenspiel, and I was considering getting a second one (I am a music teacher). I thought I was buying the same basic instrument as the first one I already own, but I discovered that each metal bar (the notes) are about 1/3 of an inch smaller than my first. This means the tone is not as bright or clear. I would have considered keeping it, but the note names on each bar are also smaller and not as deeply imprinted, so it will be harder for my students to learn on. The tones are accurate in pitch, and the frame size is identical. the carry case is very basic and in my opinion, a little too thin to protect the instrument if one plans to transport it around frequently. The stand is just fine, so if a person were to keep it in one place, like a music room or studio, it should be just fine. This instrument is okay for a beginner, or a single musician, but not quite what I need as a music teacher.

I'm in my 40's now but was a percussionist back in the day and played a little of the xylophone but mostly the snare drum in our high school band. And I'm currently homeschooling my 7th and 9th graders and just thought this would be fun for us all. And it has been. It's way better quality than I expected. The stand is great!! It's better and sturdier than any of the stands that I remember having in the past and is probably worth the asking price of a little less than $100 at the time of this review by itself. The cat jumps on it all the time while we're playing and can pull herself up by it and it's never fallen or even wobbled. She's a small cat, but it's very sturdy. The stand and instrument are both excellent quality. The xylophone screws onto the stand and stays very securely and the height adjusts easily to a great span of various heights. The carrying bag, especially the zipper, seems a little cheap and the mallets aren't the best quality either. But for the price this setup can't be beat. It's at least high school band level quality in my opinion for a much better price. Highly recommend it!

I'm very pleased with the quality and sound of this. It is sturdy and well-made and light enough that it's easy to move around. It's also easy to adjust between the height I need to play whether I'm standing or sitting. The included sticks and carrying bag are functional quality. It did not come with any instruction or sheet music.

I play many instruments, but have been wanting to learn how to play the xylophone. This xylophone is of very nice quality. It is sturdy and produces a really nice tone. The stand is also very easy to set up and it's super stable. My dog has accidentally bumped into it and it didn't fall over! It also comes with a really nice case to keep it safe while not in use. I can't wait to learn some holiday songs on my new instrument! I would definitely recommend this really nice xylophone with quality tone!

Not bad - the top notes don't really sing like they ought, and overall the sound isn't very 'live'. The beaters supplied are classroom-grade. A shame, as with a small amount of improvement this would be a decent instrument.
