I recently picked up this Tmyjfjingxi 320-piece quick splice connector kit for a few projects around the house, and overall, I'm pretty satisfied. These spade connectors were a breeze to crimp using my Paladin crimper set with an open-barrel non-insulated terminal die. However, if you're using cheaper crimpers, you might have a tougher time getting a good solid connection. For rock-solid terminal crimps, you'll want to use crimpers specifically designed for open-barrel non-insulated terminals (think B-crimps or F-crimp styles). If you're looking for an affordable option, the and both look similar to my Paladin set and support interchangeable crimping dies. One minor hiccup I ran into was with the middle-sized 4.8mm (3/16") connectors. The female receptacles wouldn't fit over the spade terminals on some rocker switches I was using, even though they were also labeled as 4.8mm. It turns out the male spades on the rockers were just a bit thicker, and the 4.8mm terminal receptacles in this kit weren't wide enough. I ended up using the 1/4" female receptacle terminals from the kit instead, and they worked perfectly, providing a secure connection.I noticed that these terminals are a bit thinner than some other brands I have (Molex, 3M, GB, and TE), but that's to be expected given the price difference. I was happy to see that the male and female ends included in the kit fit together snugly, creating a solid connection. My only real compatibility issue was when trying to use the 4.8mm female connectors with existing male terminals from other components. The clear nylon insulating sleeves that come with the kit offer good strain relief and protection. I used a few dozen of them, but in some cases, I opted for a layer or two of adhesive heat shrink tubing over the crimped terminal for extra security. As a personal preference, I always solder my crimps for added durability.Overall, this kit is a great value for the price, especially for the average DIYer. If you have a good set of crimpers, these connectors will do the job just fine. They might be a little thinner than higher-end brands, but the connections I made seem just as solid.---Product: 320 PCS 2.8/4.8/6.3 mm Quick Splicing Spade Connector Crimping Terminal Holder Classification Kit, with Insulating Sleeve, Electrical Terminal for Car Audio Speaker Wiring Connectors WW003ASIN: If you found it useful, please consider marking it as helpful.

This kit has a nice selection of crimp connectors. They have separate transparent plastic sleeves that you install after you crimp. The description says they are copper. I ground one down and put it next to a pure copper plate. Judge for yourself. It looks like brass. Brass works but it is not copper.

This is the perfect set for me, because I usually end up ruining connectors by manhandling them, so I often have to go back in and replace them. So far I have only used them on one project, on my weed wacker, and it worked fine and I was able to reconnect the ground so I could actually shut the thing off. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone who does a lot of DIY stuff and doesn't want to run to the auto parts store in the middle of the night because they accidentally ruined a connector.
