So I recently took on a project of reapholstering an ottoman. I'd never tried to do this before so it's been a fun journey. After I was done reapholstering it looked a little plain and I wanted to add metal decorative nails around the top where the top overlaps with the ottoman to give a finished look.I found these and decided to give it a try. These worked out so well and looks professional. Noone would ever know I did this. It's easy too.Appling around the outside of the ottoman took me about 30 minutes. About every 5th one needs to be hammered or pushed in maybe if you're super strong but I used a hammer. I have plenty left over so my eye is on our leather sofa maybe next.

This is so much easier than using single upholstery tacks. I always have a problem with spacing and hammering them all in straight. I also have been known to get the post in crooked and have to throw them away. These take all the hard part of using upholstery tacks. You only have to hammer in a small fraction which leaves a lot less room for error. It is sturdy enough it can be shaped and stays in place. It is so much faster to get the look I’m going for and looks a lot more professional. I use it with cow hide mirrors and it works great. I will look for these in different colors and be purchasing them again.
