Step 1: Nail the padeyes to the corners with screws and plastic expansion pipes.
Step 2: Connect the shade sail with the turnbuckle and snap hook and attach them to the padeyes.
Step 3: Twist the turnbuckle until the shade sail is with full tension.

These were a breeze to install. Well after I had to figure out what size screws these were so I could predrill a whole into the metal pool cage with a drill but. It took me more time figuring out which drill but I needed for these screws. And also to figure what size the screws are. It would be so very HELPFUL if the screw sizes was printed on the bag it came in or at least posted here in the description! Install went so fast after figuring out the size drill bit and screws these were. I do recommend this product. So these are sized #8 screw and I used a size 9/64 drill bit to create a pilot hole for metal. Hope this is helpful to any new buyers.

I only used 2 of the 4 turnbuckles and 2 of the 4 mounting clips. My frame has some I used. The stainless screws are junk and break very easily. I’d suggest some exterior torx head screws to mount. Otherwise seems ok.

The retractable tie is small and light weight but is strong and works great. It’s a nice set of items needed for installation. No instructions so remember to install the D-rings to allow for the retractable to tighten the shade.

Just don't understand the hook part, it's not big enough to stay hooked in even slightly windy areas
