This is an aftermarket single-zone thermostat for a Dometic RV AC unit. It is a replacement for the OEM Dometic 3316250.712 part number.What I like:- Easy functionality, intuitive- Sleek, classic design- Controls heat pump/heat strips if your unit has those, too- Can control your furnace (IF you have an actual Dometic AC unit)- Just over 1/2 the price of the OEM model - great value- Case is injection molded, not 3D printed - no chance it delaminates and comes apartWhat I don't like:- It's not the actual OEM part (no OEM warranty).So, is it worth twice the price for the name-brand part? That's up to you. For me, it is not. I will use this for my own use. However, I am a certified RV tech as well. Until I have a pedigree established, I can't sell to my customers with a full warranty. But I would sell with a 90-day warranty.Overall, it works great in my mock-up testing. I will install in my work trailer and give more extensive real-world testing. We'll see, but at half the price, you likely can't go wrong.

This is a great replacement thermostat control panel for my RV and it provides precise temperature control for my Dometic air conditioning system. Installation was straightforward and the clear LCD display makes it easy to use, even in low light. I love that it has a sleek design and the option to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

It looks exactly the same as the Dometic model, but at an affordable price. Same function and set temperature. It should be a good substitute.
