3/4” GHT Male x 1/2” NPT Male Connector
The brass garden hose fitting is a 3/4” GHT Male to 1/2” NPT Male connector and is suitable for connecting pipes, hoses, or fittings with different end types and diameters. The fitting is made of brass for durability and resistance to corrosion, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. It has male Garden Hose Thread (GHT) threads on one end and male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on the other for connecting to a female threaded pipe, hose, or fitting.

The old connection was plastic, was hard to get on and off, and was starting to leak. This together with a brass hose cap works much better.

Works fine and has the proper thread sizes. But, the wall thickness is on the thin side so the bearing face for your rubber hose washer is not much.

Learned something new... GPT vs NPT means it will only fit a garden hose not, for example a hot water Heater. Double check that's what you need first

Well made adapter uses heavy brass material. I use it to drain hot water tank from the Pressure Relief Valve through a garden hose attached to the adapter. Just unscrew the drain pipe from the Pressure Relief valve and screw in the adapter. Then attach your garden hose to the hose thread end of the same adapter and open the relief valve with the hose end placed outside or at a drain. This should be done annually, per the instructions for my Rheem Hot Water Heater, for draining a few gallons of water to test valve operation.

Quality seems decent but the wrong size from what is listed. The website picture, description and packaging all show 3/4 GHT to 3/4 NPT but the package contained 3/4 NPT to 3/4 NPT couplers which can't be used.
