Used it to replace my oil cooler hose. i added double insulation. I wasn't going to spend 50 dollars on 1 OEM hose just because its shaped differently and special. thats why i used the insulation.

I installed this hose in October. It is now January. The car has been parked in the garage since November. It is very cold in the garage, the coolant in the system is freeze protected to -34 F. All the other hoses on the system are soft and pliable. This new hose is hard as a rock the entire length of the hose. I don't trust that this hose will stand up to it,s intended duty without prematurely failing. I should have bought a good name brand hose instead.

Seems like good quality, but not 10 feet, both of the ones i got were 9 1/2 feet long
